Congratulation Zaine your toastmaster of the day this week for sharing your love affair with vegetables with us!
Since Valentines Day was coming up talking of love was a great theme. Using vegetables Zaine painted in our minds vibrant the greens of beans, reds of tomatoes, whites of cauliflower and mash potatoes. We also loved the informative nature mixed in like a tossed salad dripping with exotic dressing, in particular the history of tomatoes becoming a fruit to avoid the vegetable tax which was upheld by the USA 1883 Tarif Tax Act was made both memorable and humorous by Zaine. Our club members also loved Zaine’s artful use of the projector, both the on with the images, and the off towards the end removing its distraction.
