No, that is not Peter winning the first place in the club contest but a scene from Kristeene’s excellent test speech.
The contest was a tough one with Peter shining as his usual self. A well structured and presented evaluation with lots of good tips for everybody. Alex came second and Ratna third.
Kristeene told us all about the battle between carrots and humus versus fish and chips and the resulting guilt trip down memory lane, posting letters in the chip shop and a black ops search and rescue of abandoned chippies. In the end the cats got fed and the carrots won the battle (but not the war).
A big thank you to all the helpers during the meeting, without you it would not have been possible to run the contest!
As Peter also won the club evaluation contest at Statistics NZ, he stepped down from the throne at Terrace@12 which will give Alex the opportunity to represent his club at the upcoming area level contests.
