This meetings (30th March) Toastmaster of the day award goes to Stephen, whom we congratulate, for parachuting us into the middle of a midnight adventure. Stephen’s story was visual, was funny, was well structured, and exhibited silver polish delivery. He also expertly pack-lunched into his story the meetings theme and word of the day “Chocolate”, which he opened on us whilst skimming the sea inside a Hercules transport plane in the form of squaddies trading their various flavours of chocky bikkies from their white square lunch box balanced carefully on their little boy knees. Then it was onto the man stuff of the story, jumping out of planes, guns, and the safe passing on of a very dangerous terrorist to an awaiting chopper, before evaporating into the night. All in all a Jolly Good Show ol’chap.hqdefault
