Rachel at Toastmaster this week displayed how relaxed and comfortable she has become at chairing our club’s Toastmaster meetings even in the face and challenge of a disembody meeting devoid of it’s usual speakers. Rachel remained cool headed an resourceful by filling the slot with an impromptu debate that she popped onto the agenda to fill the whole. Her subject for debate was lighthearted – Easter Bunny v Father Christmas. Rachel excelled at explaining and organizing members who had the surprise of taking part in a lively debate. Fun was had and public debating was experienced and enjoyed.

In summary, well done to Rachel for displaying the mastery of leading a club meeting through a very different agenda, teaching us to debate and reacting dynamically throughout.
