Congratulations to David, who gave his first speech today at Terrace@12. The first speech at a Toastmaster’s club is know as the “Icebreaker” speech and is deigned to break the ice between a speaker and the club. The speaker, David, had the opportunity to share personal experience about themselves an easy subject to talk. By an Icebreaker speech being about the new member the club also gets a chance to learn about the latest joiner.
David gave an exceptional well structured speech, and the grammarian noted that there was not a single err or um anywhere. Hence the well deserved Toastmaster of the day award going to David this week.
