How do you make a good speech a great speech?

Repetition and practice.

Keyurs challenge today was to incorporate feedback given for a previous speech in the areas of organisation and speaking style.

He set about enthralling us all with a candid story of his Honeymoon in the Maldives. He explained how he chose the location, he drew us in with a mental description of the beach and the hotels bungalow accommodation and the sounds of the sea, he described the beautiful scene of his bride and he awaiting their meal on the beach in these stunning surroundings and we were with him thinking he must be the perfect groom. But no, alas, as it turns out the hotel let his planning down in this one area.

We know Keyur and his bride had a marvelous and memorable time anyway.
